Active Rehab Works – Work place
assessments & Job Analysis Services
What is Job Analysis?
Job
analysis is a process used by occupational rehabilitation consultants when
assessing an injured employee’s workplace, and their particular job
requirements. This assists them to
develop appropriate injury management programs, as well as safe, durable return
to work plans. General data and
information collected includes job duties, responsibilities, equipment used,
work relationships, and work environment.
They will also look at the frequency, duration, effort, skill,
complexity and equipment used. Each task
is weighted in terms of relative importance to the overall job
requirements. The important distinction
to make in this process is that it is the job, not the employee or person/s that
is being analyzed.
