Active Rehab Works - Ergonomic Assessment Services

What are Ergonomic Assessments?

Ergonomic assessments usually involve the analysis and evaluation of an employee’s workstation and surrounding work area. Information is gathered to see if any facets of the work station / area contribute to, or aggravate an employee’s injury.  Modifications are usually recommended to alleviate further injuries and symptoms.

Our Services:

Our staff are fully trained in carrying out ergonomic assessment services.  A structured approach and series of standardized tests are used to gather information.

Typical workstation / areas which we review include:

  • seating
  • computer station
  • desk
  • mouse
  • foot rest
  • document holder
  • head set
  • keyboard

Individual employee work habits

We also consider the individual employee’s and their work habits in relation to their workstation, work style and general work environment, as these can significantly impact on health and well being in the workplace.  We assess things like:

  • repetition rate required

Instruction / Training:
