What are Ergonomic Assessments?
Ergonomic
assessments usually involve the analysis and evaluation of an employee’s
workstation and surrounding work area. Information is gathered to see if any
facets of the work station / area contribute to, or aggravate an employee’s
injury. Modifications are usually
recommended to alleviate further injuries and symptoms.

Individual employee work habits
We also consider the individual employee’s and their work habits in relation to their workstation, work style and general work environment, as these can significantly impact on health and well being in the workplace. We assess things like:

Instruction / Training:
Instruction is provided on injury prevention techniques, including suitable stretches and suggested rest breaks. A follow-up review may be conducted to ensure that recommendations are implemented.
Management Reports:
Our findings are documented in a comprehensive “Ergonomic assessment report” and is forwarded to the injured employee, their supervisor or line manager and treating doctor
